B is the answer
and in my opinion logic is:
add both the numbers and count backwards from Z upto the place of your answer.
(1) 3 + 8 = 11 = P (It is at 11th place if you count it backwards from Z )
similarlly
(2) 9 + 11 = 20 = G
(3) 2 + 4 = 6 = U
(4) 3 + 1 = 4 = W
Therefore
(5) 7 + 18 = 25 = B (Which is at 25th place, if we count backwards from Z.
Yes, both (pooja & yours) logic are correct

Answer is ‘B’…..
Explaination…,
3 + 16 (P =16th alphabet) + 8 = 27
9 + 7 (G = 7th alphabet) + 11 = 27
2 + 21 (U = 21th alphabet + 4 = 27
3 + 23 (W = 23rd alphabet + 1 = 27
so, 7 + 18 = 25,
Hence, 27 – 25 = 2
2nd alphabet is B.
So, answer is ‘B’.
