Percy acquired the weapon and waited for the opportune moment to attack. As Medusa came closer to him, he got ready. His heart was racing, he kept his calm and then with a surprise attack, separated Medusas head from her body. Her blood spilled all over the temples floor. The blood seemed strange to Percy. The blood spatter formed some kind of pattern, which Percy recognised to be English. The blood formed letters in form of some 4*4 grid, spiraling inwards in a clockwise direction, as if following some route starting from top right. Before Percy could read the blood fell on floor and again formed letters. This time Percy was able to see what was written.
