A girl bought a box when she was 20, She puts $250 in the box on every birthday And her sister takes out $50 from the box on her birthday. Girl died when she was 60 and when the box was opened there were $500 remaining in the box.
How is it possible?
See Answer:Girl and the box
She was born on 29th feb.
Explanation
In 40 years she put 10(as her birthday comes once in 4 years)*250 = $2500
Her sister withdraws 40*50 = $2000
Thus the remaining amount is $500.

Girl deposits 250*40= 10000 bucks .
But girl was born in a leap year that’s why she had been deposited only 2500 bucks.
While her sister takes out money on her birthday who is born in an ordinary year so the amount is 50*40= 2000 bucks.
So that’s why only 500 ( 2500-2000 ) bucks remaining in the box.

Its very simple and ordinary question
Nice puzzle. But the confusion is $50 is taken on whose birthday, whether died girl or another girl. If died girl then $50*10. If other girl them $50*40. Am I right….?
Super tricky puzzle
thanks 🙂
when the sister withdraws 50$ on her birthday means ideally every 29th feb i.e. once in 4 years. then how can it be possible of withdrawing 50$ every year when there is no 29th every year except leap year.
Her sister withdraws $50 on her own birthday, that is not on feb 29th.
are u an idiot bro !!
