While traveling along a lonely road, a rich man was hungry. He saw two farmers and asked them for food. One had 3 chapatis and the other 5. To divide them equally, they made 3 pieces of each chapati. Every man had 8 pieces. The rich man gave them 8 gold coins. He told them that they should divide them EQUITABLY and rode away. How many coins should each farmer get?

the farmer with 3 chapathis should get 1coins coz when he divided into three pieces total peices were 9, he ate 8 that means he gave oly one to merchant where as farmer with 5 chapathis had 15 peices 15-8=7 so gave 7 to merchant hence he should get 7coins
